Bicycle retailer Rodalink launches online sales during Indonesia's PPKM

During the epidemic, the development of almost all fields and industries has encountered obstacles. It is reported that Indonesia's emergency community activity restrictions (PPKM) have been extended to July 25, 2021.

During this period, Rodalink, the largest bicycle retailer in Indonesia, closed its offline stores and provided services to consumers through WhatsApp to meet the needs of consumers in various regions.

Rina Mutia, Rodalink Indonesia Marketing Communications Company, said that Rodalink has always supported the implementation of the emergency PPKM to Level 4 to respond to the recent increase in confirmed cases of the new crown epidemic, so Rodalink provides services to consumers through online digital transactions.

“This service allows consumers to easily purchase bicycles through the WhatsApp application without leaving their homes. The service is very easy to use. Consumers only need to choose the nearest Rodalink store through the information on the Rodalink official website and place the order,” Rina Mutia said in a statement.

Each store has its own dedicated phone and WhatsApp number through which consumers can get in touch with the staff, who will take care of all their needs and deliver the goods to the consumers.

Rina explained that in addition to WhatsApp, the bicycle store network with 48 branches across Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore also conducts promotional activities through social media Instagram, Facebook and Rodalink Indonesia's Youtube. In order to facilitate consumers to contact and communicate with the Rodalink team, the company also cooperates with some local e-commerce platforms in Indonesia, such as Tokopedia and Blibli, to sell bicycles and related equipment.

Rina confirmed that during the emergency community movement restriction (PPKM), Rodalink has closed all its sales outlets for inspections to comply with the emergency PPKM regulations.

At the same time, Rina said that in this situation, Rodalink did not stop considering the needs of consumers. They realized that bicycles need to be regarded as one of the safest and most reliable sports facilities during the epidemic, and people can also improve their immunity by riding.

Rodalink offers accessories, clothing, spare parts and other related products, ranging from tens of thousands to tens of millions of rupees. These include various types of children's bicycles, folding bicycles, road bicycles, mountain bicycles and other well-known brands of bicycles.
