More than 45,000 stores in Indonesia partner with Blibli Mitra to boost sales of local products

According to reports, more than 45,000 grocery stores have recently cooperated with Blibli Mitra Indonesia as part of the Galeri Indonesia x Blibli Mitra partnership . Small and medium-sized enterprise sellers in the Galeri Indonesia category can expand their online market through this form .

“Blibli has always attached great importance to improving skills and competitiveness, working in an integrated and comprehensive way for MSMEs and helping MSME market players join the market through the use of developed digital technologies, enabling them to face challenges,” said Kusumo Martanto, CEO of Blibli.

The collaboration generated by the ecosystem owned by Blibli is a form of the company’s commitment to supporting the government, especially encouraging local SME sellers to transform in line with the “Proudly Made in Indonesia policy , making it easier for people to obtain local products locally through online and offline channels .

"As more local products are sold in the market in an omnichannel manner , more people will buy these products, so local sellers and sellers in grocery stores will be able to take advantage of this opportunity to increase sales. This is expected to promote the smooth operation of retail sales and can support micro-level activities for the recovery of the national economy , " said Kusumo.

In the Galeri Indonesia x Blibli Mitra program, Blibli supports local SME sellers to enter Blibli Mitra through the Galeri Indonesia category and become suppliers of local selected products. As a result , the products in the grocery stores will be more diversified and the sales potential of the stores will be further increased .

The Indonesian Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs strongly supports the launch of this plan , which will benefit 64.2 million local SME sellers in Indonesia . Local SMEs contribute a lot, accounting for 61.07% of the total GDP, reaching 8.573 trillion, of which only 16% sell products through e-commerce .

“Therefore, the digital development of local SMEs needs to be encouraged so that they have the opportunity to enter the classroom. ” said Teten Masduki, Minister of Small and Medium Enterprises and Cooperatives of the Republic of Indonesia.

Teten Masduki also added that cooperation among all parties in improving local SMEs and strengthening the supply chain is very important and strategic to enhance their competitiveness .
