Some sellers also said that some sellers broke through the shipping restrictions and used loophole technology to frantically send large goods to the West Coast warehouse in the United States. Hundreds of cabinets entered the phx5 warehouse at the same time . However, after Amazon knew about this loophole, it blocked these sellers' cabinets and only allowed a few cabinets to enter the warehouse. There was no hope for these sellers' cabinets to enter the warehouse.
What these sellers are about to face is that the goods have to go to overseas warehouses, and the cost of unpacking and relabeling is unknown. Therefore, in the case of warehouse explosion, shipping restrictions, and difficulty in warehousing, both benefits and risks must be taken into account and platform rules must be followed.
In addition, because of the recent severe warehouse overflow at Amazon, Amazon has increased its requirements for goods delivered to the warehouse.
According to the freight forwarder, they received feedback from major express delivery companies and overseas warehouses. Recently, due to the impact of warehouse overflow in multiple zip codes of Amazon, Amazon has increased its requirements for goods delivered to warehouses:
1. Amazon will not accept any goods with soft/deformed/damaged boxes (even the slightest damage counts) 2. Goods weighing more than 15KG must be affixed with an English overweight label, otherwise they will be rejected. 3. The FBA label of the goods faded due to long-distance transportation, and the goods that cannot be seen clearly are rejected Since goods from various channels are transported over long distances, there will be multiple loading and unloading in the middle. In particular, due to the epidemic, Qatar Airways needs to change cargo multiple times to ensure the quality of the cargo boxes. The return or rejection of goods due to the above reasons is a low-level mistake.
When sellers ship goods, they can avoid such problems as much as possible, so there will not be so many problems with warehousing later.
Yantian Port is recovering slowly, Nansha Port is congested for 10 kilometers

This round of epidemic in Guangdong has had a serious impact on port operations. Now, while Yantian Port is still recovering slowly, Nansha Port has fallen again. Although Yantian International Gate has resumed accepting export heavy containers in an orderly manner since May 31 , according to the "Arrangements for Entry of Export Heavy Containers after June 6" released yesterday : 1. From June 7, we will continue to only accept export heavy containers with an ETA of -3 days (i.e. within three days before the estimated arrival date of the vessel). 2. Continue to strictly implement the "no appointment, no port entry" system . Trailers must make an appointment before submitting heavy export containers, and can only enter the port after the appointment is successful.
On the same day, it issued a "Notice on the Implementation of Epidemic Prevention and Control Measures for External Tow Truck Drivers Entering the Port Area for Operations", which showed that: 1. All drivers must verify that the travel code is green before entering the terminal. Drivers without green codes are prohibited from entering the port and must cooperate with temperature measurement; 2. Getting off the vehicle is prohibited in the port area.
Due to the large backlog in the early stage and strict epidemic prevention measures, the capacity of Yantian Port has recovered slowly.
Relevant information shows that Yantian Port has a backlog of more than 20,000 export containers. According to the arrangement, it is open to receive 5,000 containers every day , and the current processing capacity is only 1/7 of the usual level.
Yantian Port is under pressure, and containers that normally leave Yantian can only be diverted to nearby ports, including Shekou Port and Guangzhou Nansha Port. The pressure on surrounding ports has increased dramatically.
According to feedback, Nansha Port is now overwhelmed. Due to the influx of a large amount of goods, container congestion is very serious , and there are even long queues that stretch for more than ten kilometers.
Early this morning, "Nansha Release" issued the "Guiding Opinions of the Guangzhou Nansha District New Coronavirus Pneumonia Epidemic Prevention and Control Command on Implementing Traffic Control Measures in Notice No. 6", stating that in order to cooperate with the nucleic acid testing of all personnel, vehicles in Nansha District are generally only allowed to enter but not leave.
For trucks operating in Nansha Port, Guangzhou Port Group will strengthen epidemic prevention management for drivers entering the port area in accordance with the requirements of epidemic prevention and control. When leaving Nansha District, in accordance with the principle of "point-to-point" closed-loop management, drivers and passengers must hold a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 72 hours, and can only enter and exit the port area via Nansha Port Expressway and the highway connected to it.
At the same time, Shekou and Chiwan, where the pressure on shipping capacity has increased sharply, have adjusted the time for receiving export heavy containers . The notice on the adjustment of the export heavy container entry arrangement released by them shows that based on the current period, in order to further ensure the production and service standards of the terminal, CCT/MCT and SCT will adjust the time for receiving export heavy containers from 0:00 on June 6, 2021, and only accept export heavy containers within 3 days of the estimated arrival date (ETA) of the ship. Customers are requested to deliver heavy containers to the terminal within 3 days before the ship's ETA. This measure will be implemented from 00:01 on June 6 to 23:59 on June 13.
"Nansha Port is closed and only one-third of Yantian Port's capacity has been restored. The next long period of time will be the most difficult beginning and test for cross-border e-commerce logistics," said a logistics person.
Not only that, if congestion continues, shipping freight rates may usher in a new round of price increases.
Sellers complain: After changing the payment method, Amazon account cannot be logged in
Recently, some sellers said that they could not log in to their Amazon accounts after changing their payment accounts and changing their passwords. Although this situation has occurred before, they still don’t know what to do.
A seller said, "When I logged into my account today, it asked me to change my account password. After clearing cookies, I opened a new page and the login page was the same, asking me to update my password. He submitted his personal information to the Amazon performance team and was identified as a fraud. The service provider was also powerless. A year and a half has passed, and the link is still being sold, but the problem is still not solved ...
