With this latest move into the B2B space, TradeIndia already has over 1,000 sellers and over 4,000 SKUs. It connects a large number of small businesses to interact and purchase directly from manufacturers and suppliers and helps them get credit.
According to Indian media reports, as India is considered the world's largest community store market, the launch of TI Shopping provides huge opportunities and growth prospects for countless buyers and sellers in India .
India ’s retail ecosystem is a trillion -dollar market, of which food and groceries account for 65%. About 96% of the market is still unorganized and served by more than 14 million small neighborhood stores, the remaining 3% is physical retail, and the remaining 1% is B2C e-commerce.
Commenting on the venture, Mr. Sandip Chhettri, CEO of Tradeindia said , “We have long been primarily a B2B messenger but now we are ready to dive deeper into the B2B e-commerce space. As India is the world’s largest hub for small businesses and neighbourhood shops, our transformation will bring immense growth potential and expansion opportunities to the entire industry. ”
Apart from this, the B2B trade and e-commerce company has also partnered with ePayLater to provide interest-free credit to buyers and sellers.
Inspired by the success of global e-commerce and retail giants such as Alibaba and Alipay, the joint launch of TI Shopping with ePayLater is a major transformative milestone in India’s comprehensive B2B commerce ecosystem and will further drive India’s trade growth and expansion goals.
This is an ambitious step to revolutionize the B2B industry in India by simplifying and streamlining the payments and transaction ecosystem through zero-interest payment services . B2B India E-commerce |
