Russian home appliance retailer HOLODILNIK's financial report for last year was released, with online sales reaching 1.2 billion yuan

Its financial report shows that the company's total turnover in 2020 reached 25 billion rubles , an increase of more than 30% year-on-year. Among them, about 57% of Ingor came from its online business. The total turnover of the HOLODILNIK online platform was 14.3 billion rubles (about 1.2 billion yuan), a year-on-year increase of 45% compared with 2019.

At the same time, HOLODILNIK's online platform also achieved good results in terms of visits and gross profit growth. By the end of 2020, HOLODILNIK's visits were close to 20 million, compared with 16.3 million in the same period of 2019. In terms of gross profit, HOLODILNIK's gross profit in 2020 reached 3.25 billion rubles, a year-on-year increase of 40%.

Most of HOLODILNIK's revenues came from Moscow, Moscow Oblast and St. Petersburg last year. In addition, Kaluga and Rostov-on-Don saw the most active sales growth, with turnover increasing by 53% and 48% respectively.

"In 2020, we continued to maintain our leading position in the Russian home appliance market, selling 420,000 refrigerators and freezers alone," said Vladimir Vestiv, commercial director of HOLODILNIK .

Among all categories, small appliances have seen a 2-fold increase. In addition, sales of electronic products and accessories have also increased significantly. Last year, the total sales of tablets and smartphones increased by 75% year-on-year. The sales growth of some emerging categories is even more amazing, such as the sales of smart home-related devices, which increased tenfold.

It seems that HOLODILNIK's decision to expand its product categories last year was not wrong. In 2020, HOLODILNIK connected with 60 new brands. By the end of last year, the total number of brands it cooperated with exceeded 850, and the number of product models exceeded 50,000.

For 2021, Vladimir said: " We will continue to expand across Russia in various forms , including opening stores in shopping and opening Dark Stores (retail outlets or distribution centers for online shopping) on our platform." HOLODILNIK will also continue to focus on customer service to further enhance user loyalty.

According to Data Insight, HOLODILNIK is one of the top ten players in the Russian online home appliance market, with its own developed logistics infrastructure. In addition, HOLODILNIK is an official dealer of world-leading manufacturers such as Bosch, Electrolux, Liebherr, Samsung, Siemens, Sony, Tefaer, etc.
