Recently, data research organization ResearchMe conducted a survey on more than 11,000 Russian adults from different regions of Russia on the topic of the pleasure of online shopping.
The survey results show that most respondents (62%) believe that online shopping brings them a good mood. Clothes and accessories are the most likely to arouse their emotions. Nearly half of the respondents (40%) usually arouse their emotions by buying clothes, shoes and bags. 35% of the respondents said they prefer to buy some gadgets, home appliances and smart home assistants.
In addition, buying household goods, books and hobbies can also mobilize their emotions, with 26% and 21% of respondents choosing them respectively. They will also feel happy when buying cosmetics, perfumes, plants, jewelry, chocolates and furniture. At the same time, respondents are least satisfied with buying sports goods.
According to the survey, most Russians also love to pursue cost-effectiveness. 40% of the respondents said that if they can save a little money while shopping, then online shopping will bring more fun. If they receive a coupon, they will be very likely to put the product they like in the shopping cart.
Coupons and other discounts have also become a major reason for Russians to shop online. The survey shows that 61% of respondents shop online because of discounts. 51% of respondents said that they shop online to buy something interesting, and 48% of respondents shop online to save time.
After placing an order on an e-commerce platform, you open the software every day to check the logistics information to see whether it has been "shipped", "collected" or "delivered". These scenes are too familiar to online shoppers. And those who have had online shopping experience should know that the happiest moment is when they open the package, and Russians are no exception.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Russian e-commerce has seen considerable growth. Some players in this market have seen their net worth soar after listing in the United States, while others have become the richest female entrepreneurs in Russia. According to a research report by E-Promo, the Russian e-commerce market will reach 7.5 trillion rubles (about 662.7 billion yuan) by 2025. This market still has great potential, and sellers can explore more. Russia |
