My head hurts! The backend crashed again, and Amazon workers are going on strike...

Yesterday’s collective forced “Lin Dan” incident of Amazon sellers is still fresh in our minds. Today, history repeats itself and the sellers are emotionally broken again.

In addition, after the US site opened Prime Day declaration, the European site also opened it.

Amazon sellers should also note that the Amazon FBA warehouse is about to close and a wave of workers' strikes is coming again.

The backend crashed again! Sellers collectively collapsed

The ancients said that one cannot step into the same river twice, but Amazon sellers can definitely fall into the same pit twice or even N times. Look, the impact of yesterday's Amazon backend crash has not yet subsided, and today the fragile backend crashed again...

An Amazon seller said that after having no sales for several hours yesterday, the following situation suddenly appeared when he opened the page today:

It is understood that more than one seller has encountered this situation

A: I couldn’t enter the Japanese site either. It was quite sudden.

B: The US site must be down. I opened the US site and got the same error.

C: I thought there was something wrong with my account early in the morning, and I spent every day in fear!

D: It’s the same in Europe, it’s so torturous.

According to feedback from sellers who have been affected, they can directly log in to the inventory management, order management and other pages from the link, but they cannot enter the homepage.

In fact, there seem to be a lot of bugs in Amazon's backend recently . The editor found that many sellers reported that opening the Amazon webpage is always slow and stuck. The backend keeps spinning in circles, which makes many sellers angry.

Regarding this issue, an enthusiastic netizen said that the seller can solve the problem in this way: delete the DNS that has been added , and then search and delete all cookies with the amazon.com suffix.

You can now start reporting on Amazon Europe’s Prime Day!

Perhaps the most anticipated event for Amazon sellers every year is Prime Day. Many sellers will see a surge in orders on Prime Day. However, last year's Prime Day was postponed to October due to the epidemic, but this year's Prime Day applications have started early...

Recently, many sellers on the US site said that they had received news that they could report Prime Day, but sellers on the European and Japanese sites did not receive this news. Could it be that my brother-in-law favors sellers on the US site?

However, in the early hours of this morning, Amazon Europe also issued an announcement that applications can be submitted for Member Day 2021. European sellers who want to participate in Member Day should hurry up and apply. The following is the content of the announcement↓

Amazon returns policy updated, MFN and SFP orders will be affected

A few days ago, Amazon released an announcement about returns in the seller forum. At that time, the update of this return policy caused dissatisfaction among many sellers. However, today Amazon updated the policy.

Yien.com learned that Amazon has updated its previous return policy to " Introducing free replacement offers on all MFN and SFP orders ". The following are the details of the updated policy

After monitoring this policy over the past 3 days and working to answer sellers ’ questions, I will be posting an update here to clear up any confusion regarding “Free Replacement” and “Return for Refund.” Please note that I have also changed the title of this topic to avoid further confusion.

Free Replacement and No-Refund Refund

The return-to-refund scheme is not new ;

The free replacement program is new.

Starting April 15, buyers can request a refund or replacement if the item they received is damaged, defective or different from what they ordered.

Amazon will issue a zero-value replacement order and a shipping label only if you have inventory and the item is in the same condition as the item in the original order. If for some reason you don’t want to fulfill the replacement order, you can cancel it. However, canceling the order will affect your cancellation rate.

If you select the "Refund without Return" option for a SKU and the buyer receives an item that is damaged, defective, or different from the product ordered, the buyer can select "Refund without Return" or "Replacement without Return".

Amazon warehouse workers in Italy to go on strike

Italian unions said on Thursday they had called on workers at Amazon's logistics business in the country to go on a 24-hour strike on March 22 following discussions with a business lobby group over working conditions at delivery service providers , foreign media reported.

It will be the first strike to affect Amazon's entire logistics operations in Italy and will involve workers at Amazon warehouses and fulfillment centers as well as external delivery service providers .

National unions FILT-CGIL, FIT-CISL and Uiltrasporti said negotiations with Assoespressi over a workers' contract for suppliers of Amazon's delivery services had been " abruptly interrupted due to the unwillingness of lobbyists to proactively address the issues raised ".

In its statement, the union also accused Amazon of being unwilling to engage in discussions with worker representatives. In an emailed statement, a company spokesperson said Amazon's claims against the union were "false" because the U.S. group met with the union twice in January.

Amazon's spokesperson also added that given its logistics business includes delivery service providers, it believes unions should speak directly to them and the business lobbying groups that represent them.

Amazon Japan's warehouses will be closed at the end of March

Recently, I saw a lot of freight forwarders in my circle of friends sending out notices about Amazon Japan closing warehouses. The content of the notice is as follows

According to the feedback from the Japanese delivery company, Amazon has informed us that the IXD warehouse (XHD1/XHD2/XKX1) will be closed at the end of March. No warehousing reservations will be accepted until March 12, Japan time. The final warehousing date for goods is 18:00 on March 20. After March 21, goods must be delivered to the following warehouses:

XHD1→>Change to NRT1 storage

XHD2→Changed to TYO1 storage

XKX1→Change to KIX3 and store it

Sellers on the Japanese site must make relevant preparations in advance.
