South Korean e-commerce company Korea Center announced its 2020 business annual results on March 2, with consolidated sales of 302.9 billion won and operating profit of 18.5 billion won last year , up 20.4% and 72.0% respectively from the previous year.
Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic , the Korea Center's transaction volume and market-linked transaction volume have exploded, and overseas direct purchases have increased . Massive consumption seasons such as Singles' Day, Black Friday , and Cyber Monday have enabled the Korea Center to achieve the largest sales and operating profit since its establishment . Operating profit before amortization ( EBITDA) reached 31.4 billion won, exceeding 30 billion won for the first time.

Shopping mall transactions and market-related transactions continued to grow to 929.31 billion, a year-on-year increase of 12.4%, and the sales and operating profit of the Makeshop platform advertising business also increased by 205% year-on-year.
The Malltail platform , which is responsible for overseas cross-border business, achieved sales of 182.1 billion won , and the number of direct overseas purchases, including full silk, was 2.38 million, a year-on-year increase of 71%. Enuri, which handles big data and price comparison business, posted sales of 31.1 billion won, up 21% from last year. Standard product data and product data grew 103% .
The ratio of big data sales to platform sales last year was 37%, consolidating its position as the No. 1 big data sales company. The price comparison sector, which was affected by asymmetric consumption, saw transaction volume reach 1.1482 trillion won .
