INTTRA is the largest neutral network, software and information provider at the heart of the maritime industry. INTTRA was founded in 2001 by leading ocean carriers Maersk, CMA CGM, MSC and several other shipping companies. INTTRA was acquired by E2open in 2018.

  • Founded in 2001 by leading ocean carriers Maersk, CMA CGM, MSC and several other shipping companies, INTTRA has established the world's most important and largest multi-carrier neutral network in 177 countries, including more than 35,000 active shippers and 60 carriers, and integrated with 150 transportation management and port system software partners. More than 850,000 container orders are issued on the INTTRA platform every week, accounting for more than a quarter of the global ocean container trade.

Development History

-In 2001, INTTRA was founded by several shipping companies including leading ocean carriers Maersk, CMA CGM, MSC and others.

-In 2002, UASC acquired shares.

-In 2010, ABS Capital spent US$30 million to acquire a 51% stake.

-In 2015, the company received strategic funding of US$9.5 million.

-In March 2017, INTTRA expanded its ocean transportation to land transportation by acquiring Avantida, a leading European company providing empty container management for ocean carriers, to solve the container reuse and repositioning problems of ocean carriers, transportation companies, terminals, warehouses, etc.

-On October 22, 2018, E2open announced that it had decided to acquire INTTRA, the world's largest shipping booking platform.
