Xike Technology, a popular independent website, completes $50 million in Series B financing

On April 23, the fast fashion apparel brand "Xike" completed a $50 million Series B financing led by Tencent and followed by Starna Capital. It is understood that "Xike" was founded in 2014 and officially launched in August 2015. It is affiliated to Beijing Xike Network Technology Co., Ltd.

Xike is committed to becoming an Internet cross-border e-commerce group that is a leading global fast fashion brand group by collaborating with the world's top independent designers to provide original, high-quality and unique fashion products to consumers around the world .

After this round of financing, Xike will recruit high-end talents in four areas: technology research and development, back-end supply chain, e-commerce refined operations, and brand marketing.

Xike's headquarters is located in Guangzhou. With fashionable women's clothing as its core, it has expanded into areas such as shoes, bags, and accessories, built its own brand and category ecosystem, and is in a leading position in the domestic cross-border e-commerce clothing field.

Xike said that it takes consumers' lifestyles as its brand design concept, and relies on a complete data operation system and an efficient product supply system to provide customers with high-quality products and convenient shopping experience.

It is reported that Xike received an angel investment of 15 million yuan from Lenovo Group in June 2015, and a round A investment of 65 million yuan from Hong Kong-listed company On Time Logistics Group and Lenovo Group in March 2017.

Xike’s founder and CEO Yang Xingjian once said that Xike wants to be a disruptor of traditional fashion.

Yang Xingjian believes that Xike's core advantage is that it has a large number of top global designer resources. The platform provides designers with a platform to directly face consumers, which can well reshape the clothing manufacturing industry.

In the sales process of traditional clothing, it mainly relies on brand promotion, and designers need to complete the whole chain of work, including design, production, brand promotion, sales, etc.

In recent years, as consumers' shopping patterns have changed, the consumption upgrade brought about by hundreds of millions of middle-class people around the world has brought more industrial opportunities to brands, and user needs have become more diversified.

However, Yang Xingjian said that detailed designers only need to focus on design, and the platform can complete other aspects.

During the epidemic, many independent station sellers ushered in a period of traffic dividends. Xike, as a well-known independent station fast fashion clothing brand in the circle, received US$50 million in Series B financing, which also brought more confidence to sellers who planned to flock to independent stations.
