Founded in 2017, Ritase is an Indonesian logistics and freight platform. The project is based on SaaS technology and can connect customers' ERP systems to various logistics companies, enabling customers to track shipments in real time. About Ritase Ritase connects construction workers and transporters through a transportation process that can be directly monitored and used with a detailed reporting system, optimizes the functions of trucks, helps senders deliver goods to recipients, and provides complete reporting support, from tracking to proof of receipt, and is also equipped with an API connection function that can be adjusted according to the system. Key Features Ritase provides shippers and transporters with transparent, digital order processing management as well as load planning and route optimization. In addition, its open API platform and cloud-based software enable shippers to enjoy easy access to real-time information updates on the trucking market and its processes for cargo. Development Status Ritase covers cargo in all regions of Indonesia, with tens of thousands of shipments per month, more than 7,500 trucks, 500 transport vehicles, and 7,000 partner drivers connected to the Ritase app. Partners include Nestlé, Unilever, Universal Ribena (URC), JAPFA, ENERGY/Philips Lighting, Lotte, and Perfeti Van Mdlle. Today, the company has about 100 employees, 30% of whom are in the technical department. Financing -In September 2018, Ritase received a total of US$4.4 million in Pre-A round financing from Mitsubishi Corporation's Insignia Ventures Partners, with participation from Beenext, Skystar Capital, Agung Venture Capital and several other angel investors. -In May 2019, Ritase completed its Series A financing. The amount was not disclosed and the investors were not disclosed. -In July 2019, Ritase completed its Series A+ financing of US$8.5 million from investors including Golden Gate Ventures, Zhongwei Capital, and JAFCO Asia. |
