What is KMTC? KMTC Review, Features

KMTC Co., Ltd. is a Korean logistics company established in 1954 and headquartered in Seoul. Its main business area is container transportation, and the shipping company controls about 80 ports in more than 20 Asian countries. The company is one of the largest container shipping companies in Asia and ranks 22nd among the world's largest container shipping companies.

About Korea Marine Transport Corporation (KMTC)

  • KMTC's container ships are mainly used in serving and connecting countries such as South Korea with the People's Republic of China and Japan as well as ASEAN. KMTC's ships have a total capacity of more than 106,000 TEU.
  • As a liner company, KMTC regards ship punctuality as the company's first priority, and has established a complete computer operation management system and fully utilized it in all business ports. KMTC's efforts and achievements are obvious to all. In 2006, the British FAIRPLAY Association inspected the punctuality of 3,300 container ships on 23 different routes around the world, and finally awarded the championship honor to KMTC with a record 91% punctuality. We also do our best to ensure the safe sailing of all ships. These efforts have finally earned the honor of "accident-free work" certified by the state for two consecutive years.
