What is Second Review? Second ReviewReview, Features

The secondary review is a new review mechanism launched by Amazon, which aims to improve the qualifications of sellers on the Amazon platform in the United States.

About the Second Review

Target platform: North America.

Target audience: Global store opening and self-registration.

Audit method: random check.

Several common secondary audit requirements

1. Personal information To register an account, you need to submit information.

If you have registered with your personal information before and received this email again, you need to register as soon as possible or submit a clean business license with legal person information matching the background registration information for review.

2. Review of legal person’s bills.

1. Complete residential address, it is best to be consistent with an address in the background.

2. A copy of unexpired passport or other government issued identification (for example, driver's license)

3. Proof of address, such as your last utility bill (if the address on your passport or government issued identification is not current) Proof of address, credit card bill, water, electricity, gas bill.

4. The e-mail address that is registered to your Amazon account.

3. Legal person review.

Amazon account review requires the provision of legal person bills, the specific requirements are:

1. Fill in the residential address at the time of registration.

2. Front and back of ID card.

3. Utility or credit card bills.

4. Supplementary materials.

1. Length of time you have been in business: You can also specify how long you have been engaged in foreign trade e-commerce.

2. Sources of your Amazon inventory, include invoices from the past 6 months. The product procurement channels, including the supplier's address, company name, phone number and other information, can be provided. As well as the invoices from the past 6 months, it is best to ask the supplier to issue a formal VAT invoice.

3. Storage location of inventory: The inventory storage location. You can fill in the company address.

4. Addresses of any retail locations: The address of the physical store. You can fill in the company address.

5. Link to business website: the official website of your product.

6. Links to other websites that you actively sell on. It is recommended to provide EBAY and AliExpress stores. If you do not have any, do not provide them.

7. Tracking information for recently shipped orders if applicable, found on the Manage Orders page in Seller Central (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/orders-v2/list)Recently shipped order information.

8. Tax ID or Dun and Bradstreet (DUNS) Number: This is a foreign tax number and can be replaced by W8.

Notice:

(1) Invoice review is very important. You must provide an invoice that meets Amazon’s requirements, preferably a value-added tax invoice.

(2) It is best if the website provided is relatively old. The approval rate of newly established websites is relatively low.

5. EIN tax number review.

The Employer Identification Number (EIN) is also called the Federal Tax Number. According to US law, most businesses or entities need an EIN as an identification number for the IRS. The US EIN number is applicable to companies or entities registered in the United States, companies or entities registered outside the United States, and individuals.

Chinese companies are unable to provide EIN, and some sellers pass the review by submitting the W8 tax form.

6. Review of legal person’s bills, business license, and invoices.

Submit relevant bills and business license of the account legal person. If you have already uploaded the listing, it is best to submit a formal invoice.

Amazon Second Review Invoice Requirements

1. Machine-printed VAT invoices or general invoices must be used. If the seller uses purchase orders, shipping orders, contracts and other documents, they are not allowed.

2. The products on the invoice must be products that the seller has put on the shelves. It will be embarrassing if the products do not correspond.

3. The date of invoice issuance should be earlier than the time when the product is listed on Amazon. This is very important. Of course, many sellers issue invoices later, so remember to indicate on the invoice that it is a reissue.

4. The quantity of each sku should be greater than the quantity when it is put on the shelf.

5. The purchaser’s company name and address must be consistent with the company registered on the Amazon account.

6. Sellers who have the conditions can issue one invoice for 3-5 SKUs.

7. If Amazon requires an English version of the invoice, the seller can download the template directly at night, and then remember to stamp the official seal and submit the Chinese VAT invoice together with the English version.

What situations are likely to trigger a second review on Amazon?

Generally speaking, new accounts that have just been registered but have not uploaded any products are most likely to receive a second review. Some new accounts that have not done anything will also trigger a review. Similarly, old accounts may also suddenly trigger a review if they encounter the following situations:

1. Sudden change of bank card, account information and payment account number, etc.

2. Sales are too good in the short term, or orders surge.

3. Amazon conducts random inspections without reason.

experience

After submitting the audit materials, if there is no response within a few days, fax again if necessary and ask about the situation. Send an email if necessary to urge when the audit can be completed, or ask the audit team politely whether they did not receive your email or missed it. Do not wait until the audit time required by the case has passed and the audit team does not reply to your email, then your account will be suspended.
