Aidibao is a company that specializes in fresh fruit bouquets inspired by floral designs and also does franchising. About Aidibao
Development History of Aidibao In 1999, Tariq Farid and his brother Famran Farid opened the first Aidibao store in Connecticut, USA. After further improving the computer system, training manuals, production standardization and supply chain management, they began to franchise in 2001. The first official franchise store opened in Massachusetts. Since 2008, with the continuous growth of business, Aidibao has opened more than 900 franchise stores in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom. In March 2008, it was reported that Aidibao's annual revenue totaled US$195 million. In 2009, Edibao signed formal contracts with franchisees in Rome, Italy and Hong Kong, China. The Rome franchise was purchased by the International Parliamentary Forum, while the Hong Kong franchise was owned by DT Company and the franchisee was Sanja Dujic. At the same time, in November 2009, Edibao's head office signed an agreement with Kemal and Emre Aydin to expand in 15 regions in Turkey. As of the end of 2009, Edibao had signed franchise agreements in 85 regions internationally, including the United States, and its franchise chain stores reached 940. In the same year, Edibao grew rapidly in the United States, with stores mainly concentrated in Texas and the Midwest, including California, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Virginia. In 2010, Aidibao opened 84 new stores and 9 international chain stores, and signed cooperation intentions for 123 new stores. Among them, Indian tycoon Hiten Bajaj plans to open 20 new stores in India with Mumbai store as the flagship store, while Raid Al-Mustafa plans to open 6 chain stores in Jordan. In January 2011, Aidibao announced the signing of its 1,000th franchise agreement. In December 2011, Aidibao officially entered China. As of May 2013, it had opened 8 stores in Beijing, Zhengzhou, Hangzhou and other places in China. It is no exaggeration to attribute the rapid growth of Aidibao to the vision of CEO Tariq Farid, who was named Entrepreneur of the Year by IFA in 2008 and who has built a well-structured and experienced team to manage and promote the balanced development of the business in all aspects. |
