AliExpress , a cross-border e-commerce platform under Alibaba , recently announced that after supporting mobile payment methods such as M-Pesa in Kenya and Opay and Verve bank cards in Nigeria last year, it will further expand the scope of local currency payments in the African market in February this year . This time , local currency payments will be expanded to cover Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Ethiopia, Tanzania, South Africa, Uganda and other countries, providing local consumers with a more convenient and secure online shopping experience.
