The surge in demand for party supplies among the young consumers who pursue fashion on the SHEIN platform also prompted Ma Jun to try to continuously launch new products.


Compared with other platforms, Ma Jun believes that cooperating with SHEIN is an easier option. Compared with traditional e-commerce channels that require self-built logistics, operations, and customer service, SHEIN's agency operation model allows Ma Jun to devote more energy to user research, new product development, and hot product testing.


"Because we mainly produce products related to festivals and parties, we will basically start to launch new holiday products about 2 and a half months before the festival. We will also analyze the rhythm and direction of new products based on the market sales in previous years. Relatively speaking, we will have 2-3 weeks of inventory for products with special processes and long production cycles, and we will have 4 weeks of inventory for products with special processes and long production cycles. "


In the three years since its establishment, Ma Jun's company's sales have soared to 45 million, which means that sales have increased by more than 100 % every year : " I hope to set sail on this big ship of Xiyin, ride the wind and waves, stick to my original intention, and reach the harbor in my mind. A young man born in 1996 closely follows SHEIN's small-order quick response method to help old factories reduce costs and improve efficiency


Zhou Yunbin, a 1996-year-old Yiwu guy who makes resin ornaments , suddenly became the most business-savvy person in his family.


The direct reason was that under his management, Zhou Yunbin's store on the SHEIN platform sold more than 500 items every day, and the daily turnover increased by 400 times. This performance was so great that even an uncle-level factory owner who drove a Porsche across the street envied him and came to Zhou's house every few days to ask the young man for advice on business.


To dig deeper into the root of this direct cause, it is through in-depth cooperation with the platform that Zhou Yunbin gradually mastered the SHEIN-style "small order quick response " trick: test the model in the early stage, and then adjust and arrange subsequent production based on market sales feedback.


In Zhou Yunbin's area, other home furnishing merchants' regular orders for similar products often have a minimum order quantity of 1,000 pieces, while he follows SHEIN's small orders, usually 200-300 orders per batch, which matches market demand and supply more accurately, reduces waste, and saves a lot overall.


Wanting to do business on the platform for a long time, Zhou Yunbin did not have a competitive advantage by relying on long-term purchases, so he began to invest in factories. Only by relying on his own factory can he flexibly test a small number of models, and at the same time he can cope with a large number of orders for popular models, manage workers and do quality control. If it is based on the small order quantity mentioned above, a month's stock is enough for current use. If you need to make up for the popular model, it only takes 10-15 days for the next batch of large goods to follow.


"My father, when he was managing the factory, there was a lot of waste, including product and labor costs. There were many reasons for the loss, and a large part of it was because the cost was not controlled well." Zhou Yunbin talked about the past. "So now I pay more attention to cost control."


After mastering the trick, Zhou Yunbin did not hesitate to share his experience. The uncle mentioned above brought his son and followed Zhou Yunbin to explore the SHEIN platform for several months . Now they can achieve monthly sales of more than 200,000.
