Lazada and Daraz are the leading e-commerce platforms in Southeast Asia and South Asia respectively. The biggest benefit of the cooperation between the two platforms for merchants is that merchants can choose to open stores on Lazada or Daraz and enter nine major markets in Southeast Asia, including the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and South Asia, including Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal.
At the same time, the merchant backend, marketing activities and logistics fulfillment services will be simplified . Merchants can be provided with dual-platform operation services by the same platform waiter, which greatly improves efficiency and simplifies the merchant's operation process.
In terms of logistics infrastructure, Lazada and Daraz cooperate to share sorting centers. After the merchant places an order and meets the conditions for Lazada's door-to-door collection, Daraz's orders can also be picked up together, effectively reducing logistics costs.
In addition, brand merchants of Lazada LazMall can also quickly open Daraz brand mall Daraz Mall and enjoy brand-exclusive traffic exposure, operation and subsidy resources.
Mango, head of Lazada's cross-border platform business, said that Lazada's cross-border business has achieved considerable growth. The number of new customers on the demand side continues to grow, and new merchants continue to pour in on the supply side.
In order to better welcome new merchants, Lazada launched a support plan of "100 million subsidies, 10,000 merchants start sailing" for new merchants. The platform will provide 8 subsidies and 4 additional benefits including no deposit and 90-day commission-free . New merchants who settle in Daraz will receive a delivery subsidy of US$88, a US$50 advertising bonus and various operational guidelines.

Secondly, the localized fulfillment solution has been upgraded. The upgraded logistics solution not only supports one-click delivery on multiple platforms, but also breaks through the category restrictions of official warehouses, bringing logistics services with greater inventory flexibility to cross-border merchants .
Third, LazMall brand growth and brand overseas incubation. During the 6.6 promotion this year, the average customer order amount of Lazada's cross-border brands increased by 40% year-on-year. It is understood that the platform will provide a clearer growth path for cross-border brand merchants in the future, covering the incubation period within 6 months of opening a store, the growth period of 6-18 months of opening a store, and the mature period of more than 18 months of opening a store, and provide market strategies, supply strategies and marketing strategies for brands at different stages to help the growth of the main merchants' brands .
