A domestic brand of cycling glasses located in the coastal city of Xiamen has become well-known in the domestic e-commerce circle. Riding on the popularity of the 2024 Olympic season , the brand hopes to use the AliExpress channel to quickly expand its products to more countries .
In order to achieve the goal, Mr. Huang, the person in charge of brand operations at AliExpress, looked to the “Super Breakout Day” event launched by AliExpress this year .
On July 27, 2024, the Paris Olympics officially opened; on the same day, the brand's cycling glasses also completed the brand's product debut on the "Super Explosion Day". Although only non-explosive products were selected for trial , sales increased by 3 times compared to normal . After the first phase of the event, nearly 2,000 pairs of glasses were easily sold .

'Super Breakout Day' is a new traffic distribution mechanism of the platform, and brand merchants can also get greater sales growth through 'Super Breakout Day'."
Another company that has benefited from the "Olympic season" is a Ningbo-based sports bottle brand. The company's sports bottles are made of environmentally friendly materials and have a portable design, making them suitable for track and field sports and outdoor hiking enthusiasts. Its markets are mainly Europe, South Korea and other countries or regions, with the French market accounting for 30% of total sales.
After the launch of Super Breakout Day, the person in charge, Mr. Qian, keenly realized that his own sports bottles were very consistent with the activity scene of "Super Breakout Day". Registration for the event began in April. By the end of July this year, a total of 200,000 sports bottles had been sold on AliExpress, and most of the orders came from "Super Breakout Day".
