Alibaba International launches AI design product “Duiyou” in educational version

On June 28 , the D20 Global Design Deans Summit was held in Hangzhou. At the event, Alibaba International's AI design product "Duiyou" officially released its education version. It is reported that Duiyou Education Edition is a customized AI design teaching management platform for colleges and universities, which can solve the model requirements, tool requirements, teaching requirements, computing power requirements, etc. of AI design in one stop.

At present, the top 20 design schools in China have all launched the exclusive channel for cooperation with Duiyou universities. Among them, five schools, including Zhejiang University, Jiangnan University, Guangdong University of Technology, Qingdao Huanghai College, and Hainan Software Vocational and Technical College, have deeply co-built a new paradigm of industry-education integration of "artificial intelligence + design education" with Duiyou, and will jointly build industry-education cooperation laboratories and training bases. Taking Zhejiang University as an example, in the in-depth co-construction with Duiyou, it has won the special prize of industry-education integration in the Zhejiang Provincial Teaching Innovation Competition . In July this year, the two parties will also co-host the Asian Innovation Design Workshop .

The reporter learned that Duiyou, as a one-stop design platform, is known as the domestic version of Midjourney and was selected as one of the "Top Ten AIGC Tools of 2023" announced by UISDC, a well-known Chinese design platform . At present, Duiyou has more than 1 million active users, and the average number of works generated per day exceeds 100,000.

"Nanqiang", a creator of Duiyou who has been engaged in design work for 8 years, told reporters that AI has completely changed her working status. Not only is AI technology used throughout the process, but she has also made more than 50 AI picture models and uploaded them to "Duiyou" for her peers to use. "Currently, my picture models have been used hundreds of thousands of times. It can be said that my work is deeply bound to AI technology. I believe that with the development of technology, AI will be able to help people complete more incredible design work in the future."

In addition, relying on Alibaba International's cross-border e-commerce experience, Duiyou Education Edition will also launch a large number of e-commerce design courses. The reporter learned that Alibaba International's design team has applied AI design capabilities to cross-border e-commerce practices. Its Duiyou and Pic Copilot have become " AI e-commerce design tools " that can help cross-border merchants easily break through language and cultural barriers and complete the entire e-commerce design process in 5 minutes.
