1 million more visits! Shein successfully "beats back" Amazon in this country

Recently, digital media market research company Mediapanel released the ranking of Polish e-commerce platform visits in August this year. AliExpress, shein and Temu from China are on the list.

 

The Polish e-commerce platform Allegro ranked first with 18.78 million visits, a coverage rate of 63.55%, and an average usage time of 1 hour, 49 minutes and 16 seconds per user. Allegro Locally also had 6.69 million visits, a coverage rate of 22.63%, and an average usage time of 6 minutes and 50 seconds per user.

 

AliExpress from China ranked third with 9.25 million visits, an average visit duration of 47 minutes and 27 seconds, and a coverage rate of 31.3%; Amazon ranked seventh with 6.21 million visits and a coverage rate of 21.01%; Temu ranked tenth with 5.81 million visits, a coverage rate of 19.66%, and an average usage time of 11 minutes and 54 seconds.  

In contrast, although the clothing e-commerce platform Vinted only ranked ninth (6.04 million visits), its average usage time was the longest on the list, at 1 hour, 52 minutes and 20 seconds. Shein, also a clothing platform, ranked higher.

Shein's visits exceeded 7 million again last month, ranking fifth (7.23 million), with an average visit duration of 35 minutes and 39 seconds and a coverage rate of 24.49%. Data in all aspects exceeded Amazon.

 

Compared with July, although Allegro ranked first in the list in August, the overall reading visits showed a slight decline, a decrease of 5.5 million (0.03%), but the average usage time increased by 3 minutes and 31 seconds, an increase of 3.3% year-on-year.

 

The number of AliExpress users increased by 859,400, up 10.2% year-on-year; the average usage time increased by 19 seconds, up 0.7% year-on-year.

 

The number of shein users increased by 435,400, a growth rate of 6.4%, and the average usage time increased by 19 seconds, a growth rate of 0.9%.

 

Temu's visits in July were only 3.25 million. In contrast, it increased by 2.56 million in August, a year-on-year increase of 78.7%. In terms of the increase alone, Temu is definitely the first on the list.

 

In July, Amazon (6.85 million) had 50,000 more visits than shein (6.80 million). In August, Amazon's visits decreased by 643,800, 1.02 million less than shein, a decrease of 9.4%; the average usage time decreased by 1 minute and 38 seconds, a year-on-year decrease of 21.4%.
