It’s a pity! 10 listings of the seller were “stolen” by another brand

Every day is a new test for Amazon sellers. Many sellers are very nervous when checking their accounts every morning, fearing that there will be problems with their accounts today.

Recently, a seller reported that he woke up early in the morning and found that all 10 listings in his account had been "snatched" away by another brand.

According to the seller, these products were developed by himself and he has never authorized anyone else to sell his products. However, he has not applied for brand registration on Amazon.

Unexpectedly, one morning the seller suddenly found that all ten of his listings had been snatched away by a brand called “toptopper”.

After investigation, the seller found that he was not the only victim, and many other sellers reported that they had been "attacked" by this brand.

At present, the seller has opened a case and tried to seek help from Amazon through online chat and telephone communication, but the problem has not been resolved.

What’s even more exaggerated is that the seller finally chose to close the case because he was told that he was not the brand owner and therefore had no authority to perform any operations on the product.

According to a seller who had a similar experience, there is basically no good solution to this situation. In the end, he could only choose to close the stolen listing and then put the product back on the shelf.

However, the seller in question cannot even choose to put the product back on the shelf now, as he still needs to face the brand review process again, and he really doesn’t know what to do now.

Soon, this issue attracted the official attention of Amazon, and an official customer service message said that the platform would investigate and resolve the problem as soon as possible, and suggested that sellers file a complaint through the Account Health section of the Seller Center.

In addition to the official, sellers are also paying close attention to this incident. One seller exposed a case where the brand "toptopper" took over other products and attached a screenshot.

Some sellers also said that they often encounter this kind of thing. Basically, it means that the link is dead and they can only redo it. There is no other way.

From this incident, we can see that it is indeed very important for sellers to do brand registration in advance, otherwise it will be very troublesome to file a complaint in this situation. However, we still hope that Amazon can help sellers protect their rights as much as possible and not let this kind of loophole behavior affect the normal operation of sellers.
