Amazon launches free shipping software, a new benefit for sellers?

Recently, at the 2022 Amazon Seller Conference Accelerate , Amazon announced a new free shipping service for sellers - Veeqo.

It is understood that Veeqo is a multi-channel shipping software that helps sellers reduce shipping costs while increasing the speed of fulfilling customer orders. It is designed to simplify the rapidly growing e-commerce and was acquired by Amazon earlier this year.

Currently, Amazon has announced that it will provide this software feature to sellers for free. Sellers using Veeqo can connect to its various sales platforms, including Amazon, eBay, Etsy and Shopify, and get designated discounts in UPS, the United States Postal Service, DHL and FedEx .

Additionally, Veeqo’s rate shopping feature can import your orders and automatically find the lowest shipping rates available based on size and weight.

Veeqo was born in 2013. Its founder, Matt Warren, was also an online seller. He felt that the order logistics management at the time was too chaotic, so he formed a team to design a software that could make shipping orders across multiple sales channels cheaper and easier.

Warren said that as a seller, shipping orders and managing inventory across channels is time-consuming and error-prone, and the available transportation management software is complex. The Veeqo system takes into account the needs of all multi-channel sellers, and sellers can track, price, sell and ship orders across multiple channels with just a few clicks .

Previously, the average price of Veeqo was $450 per month, but now Amazon has made Veeqo free for all sellers. Sellers who ship through Veeqo only need to purchase carrier labels without paying additional monthly fees.

Veeqo provides key tools to help sellers reduce shipping costs, including:

Amazon Certified Integration: Log in to Amazon, import your orders and instantly get the lowest available shipping rates through Veeqo to purchase shipping services, avoiding late deliveries and negative customer feedback, with our integration with Amazon.

Shipping Automation: Automatically select the lowest rate, ship up to 100 orders in batches, and automatically send tracking emails to customers when their orders are complete, saving sellers time and money.

Branding Programs: Provide a consistent brand experience with branded packing slips and invoices.

In addition to the above features, Veeqo also plans to launch new business features for free, including:

Inventory Sync: Automatically sync your inventory between Amazon, eBay, Etsy, and Shopify.

Track and purchase inventory: Provides a complete inventory management solution that makes it easy to track and calculate inventory across locations, manage bundles, and email purchase orders to suppliers.

Digital Picking: Pick and pack orders faster while preventing 99% of errors with greater accuracy from Veeqo scanners and mobile apps.

Reporting and Forecasting: Generate reports that provide actionable insights, allowing sellers to make smarter inventory decisions using inventory performance, historical inventory, and financial information.

Sellers who have used it say that Veeqo eliminates the hassle of managing multi-channel businesses and effectively shortens shipping time.

However, some sellers complained that the operation process was not simple and the software experience was poor.

However, sellers who have never used Veeqo have doubts about this service, and are concerned about whether it has the same delivery service guarantee as Amazon's own delivery. Some sellers also question whether the service may have hidden charges, and some sellers say that Amazon is trying to collect their sales data on other platforms through Veeqo.

Sellers have different opinions on Amazon's move. Many sellers choose to wait and see whether to use the service, saying they are not in a hurry to draw conclusions.

Currently, Veeqo has officially opened free use to sellers on Amazon US, and sellers can access new features that have not yet been officially launched in advance.
