TikTok reaches cooperation with Philippine service provider Etaily

In a statement, Etaily said it will leverage TikTok's strong user growth momentum to help the rapid development of the Philippines' e-commerce retail industry.

TikTok has achieved leapfrog growth in the number of users of all ages, and the social media platform is constantly introducing new features to better interact with users. Recently, TikTok launched a new e-commerce feature in the Philippines, where products can be embedded in videos, live broadcasts, and the TikTok product display tab on the seller's homepage, allowing users to add products directly to the shopping cart.

It is reported that Etaily will help its brand partners establish channels in TikTok Shop and provide a series of e-commerce solutions, including community management, video production, live streaming, influencer cooperation, store management and warehousing fulfillment.

“We are actively looking for ways to increase brand awareness and product conversion rates,” said Alexander Friedhoff, co-founder and CEO of Etaily. “Online shopping has entered a new era and there is still great potential for development. We need to help brand partners increase exposure, stabilize growth, and guide them to use all available e-commerce platforms.”

It is understood that Colourette is one of the first Philippine brands to enter TikTok Shop. Nina Ellaine Dizon-Cabrera, founder of Colourette, said: "The most important thing about e-commerce is change and flexibility. TikTok Shop is a new opportunity for us. We have exceeded our sales target in the first 15 days. We look forward to further growth through this live streaming platform in the next few years."

Friedhoff said of the partnership: “This is a great opportunity to attract young consumers, especially Generation Z, as 60% of TikTok users belong to this group. Therefore, brands need to customize their content and keep it consistent with the tone of the TikTok platform. Simply moving existing content from other platforms will not work. As an official partner of TikTok, we will provide brands with a one-stop solution.”
