What is Google Shopping? Google Shopping Review, Features

Google Shopping is a price comparison product under Google. Its purpose is to allow users to easily conduct purchase research, find information such as the features and prices of different products, and then directly contact merchants to make purchases. Google Shopping is like a comparison website, allowing users to browse products from multiple brands at the same time without having to switch back and forth in the search results.

Procedure

1. Register a Google Merchant Center account and submit basic website information, including website verification, address, zip code, etc. (Note: website verification takes several hours to a day).

2. Organize product information in XML file format. Google officially provides fixed text formats, including tables, text forms, RSS1 and API formats, and the files include required attributes, recommended attributes, and optional attributes.

3. Generally, the RSS2.0 format is selected for production. After production, it is submitted to the Google Merchant Center backend. One way is to submit the file URL, and the other is to submit the product format file. After submission, it will generally prompt success or invalid in about half an hour.

4. If the submission prompt is always invalid, it may be a problem with the file format attributes on the one hand, or a problem with the product chain of the product itself. Some products are not suitable for Google Shopping.

5. After successful submission, the main product, click quantity, API data, etc. will be displayed on the Google Merchant Center control panel.

1. Title: Placing product keywords in the product title can improve the relevance ranking.

2. Price: Try to find products that are cheaper than your competitors, so that you can easily gain an advantage in price and rank at the front.

3. Description: Highlight the product’s keywords and include long-tail keyword content within a limited number of words.
