Yesterday, many Amazon sellers reported that their stores had received multiple notifications of complaints about product conditions.
It is understood that in the past two days, a large number of sellers have received product condition complaints - defective notifications for different ASINs. In addition, some sellers reported that they have received the same notification every day recently, and almost every product has been complained about. I don’t know whether it will have an impact on the store in the future.
Most Amazon sellers expressed great concern, suspecting that their stores had been the subject of malicious complaints, which might lead to the removal of products or links.
However, Amazon stated in the notice that the seller’s ASIN that was complained about is still on sale, and provided a solution. If the seller wants to delete this violation from the account, he needs to check and confirm the following five statements. If the seller does not confirm, the violation will be recorded.
Most sellers choose to check and submit in the background, and the performance records are indeed eliminated, but they are still worried that they will continue to receive such notifications, which will lead to the removal of products or links.
This sudden large-scale triggering of complaint notifications by Amazon has only occurred on North American sites.
A seller consulted Amazon's official customer service, who said that Amazon is focusing on improving customer experience recently, and that this complaint was generated based on the product's historical performance, not a customer complaint. Therefore, sellers do not need to worry too much, and currently only need to check the "Submit" button in the background, and there is no need to write a POA, and there will be no subsequent impact on the account. However, if you do not check the button, it will have a certain impact on the account.
It is understood that this large-scale complaint notification incident was caused by the relevant Amazon team launching a quiz-based appeal with low enforcement measures against product quality issues such as "product defects" or "product expiration". Sellers can watch relevant policy education videos and then take a quiz to complete the violation appeal.
Currently, the answer appeal function is available on North America and Europe (EU5), and will be launched on other sites in due course.
According to the situation reflected by the seller, there are roughly two solutions :
1. Sellers with videos, watch the videos and do the test
However, Amazon has not yet officially responded to the cause of this large-scale triggering of complaint notifications.
Some sellers also speculated that Amazon may have modified the trigger mechanism to ensure the quality of the links on the eve of Prime Day.
Regardless of the reason, Amazon sellers who receive complaint notifications must perform relevant operations according to the backend requirements to avoid the link being removed due to missing performance records, which will affect the store. Amazon Sellers Product Condition Complaints |
