Amazon launches new website to help sellers grow their business

Amazon US issued an announcement on December 10, announcing the launch of the Amazon Seller Central Partner Network (ASCPN) to help sellers manage and grow their businesses.

Amazon explained in the announcement that the ASCPN website integrates the Marketplace Appstore and the Service Provider Network. There are more than 5,000 third-party software and service partners on the ASCPN website.

In the announcement, Amazon said that these third-party applications and service providers are reviewed and sellers can use these third-party applications and service providers to help manage and grow their business. " ASCPN improves discoverability through features such as popular and trending, guiding you to make informed purchasing decisions from carefully vetted third-party partners. "

Amazon says using these third-party software or service providers helps manage tasks such as product research, filling out tax forms or building customized reports.

According to the link given in the announcement, the editor also visited the ASCPN website and found that the application and service solutions on the website are still very comprehensive, including: product investigation, training, product release, inventory and distribution management, buyer interaction , brand, finance , etc.

At the bottom of the page, there are also " popular apps" showing their names , descriptions , star ratings, and costs.

Sellers have mixed reactions to Amazon's updated ASCPN, with some sellers saying they believe Amazon is profiting from third-party service providers .

One seller commented: “If we use these ‘carefully vetted partners (from whom I’m sure Amazon gets a commission), can we avoid the damage they can do to our accounts? Or is Amazon just happy to get paid but not take any responsibility?

However, judging from the responses from other sellers, no application can guarantee absolute security, and sellers are still responsible for their own accounts. Amazon moderators also responded: Amazon will not profit from this.

Some sellers said they have been doing business with several of the companies listed in the ASCPN for years, commenting, “They are essential to our Amazon business and we are very happy with them.”
