According to foreign media reports, Walmart recently announced the recall of a children's toy that was complained by many consumers because it sang some songs that were not suitable for children. Currently, the product has been removed from Walmart's shelves.

Speaking of this toy, I believe everyone is familiar with it. It is the dancing cactus that has been popular on major domestic social media before, and it can sing many songs. As a children's toy, it can stimulate children's ability to learn languages to a certain extent, and is loved by many consumers.

However, the version of the product sold abroad is a bit "changed". The dancing cactus is sold on Walmart's website as an educational toy for about $26 and can sing in multiple languages, including English, Spanish and Polish.

Ania Tanner, who is from Poland and lives in Canada , bought the toy for her granddaughter and was shocked when she heard the Polish lyrics. The Polish songs sung by Cactus are about drug abuse, suicide , depression and other negative content .

Tanner said: "I happen to be Polish, and when I started listening to the Polish song and heard the lyrics , I was shocked. It's about taking 5 grams of cocaine and being alone... All in all a very depressing song . It's a joke to put it in a children's toy! "

In fact, as early as five months ago, the toy product had been complained by consumers, but it is not clear why it can be sold until now. At present, Walmart has removed the product from its platform and stated that it will conduct further investigations and take customer complaints seriously .

This product is also sold through Amazon. When searching on Amazon, I found many links to the same product, which is still on sale at around $30. When browsing these links, I noticed that some consumers in the comments have questioned the lyrics of the Polish song.

It is reported that the song was written by Polish rapper Cypis . Cypis said he did not know that the song was used by a Chinese children's toy manufacturer. For this behavior, the Polish artist is planning to take legal action against the manufacturer . Sellers of related products should conduct self-inspections in a timely manner to avoid the risk of product recalls or infringement crises!
