This is the first order delivered by AliExpress and Cainiao in Spain this year , and also the first order in the world. It was shipped from the Spanish overseas warehouse, which was 4 hours faster than the first order delivered by the overseas warehouse last year .

This year, AliExpress and Cainiao invested more than 300 charter flights and additional manpower and costs during the Double Eleven period to ensure that Chinese cross-border merchants can guarantee logistics timeliness without increasing costs.

 

Currently, AliExpress has teamed up with logistics partners such as Cainiao to deploy 5 preferred warehouses in North China, East China, South China, and Hong Kong . A transfer network is formed between the preferred warehouses to automatically help merchants match the best trunk logistics, save logistics costs, and improve fulfillment time . Through warehouse delivery, AliExpress can achieve cross-border parcels in Spain and France within 10 days, Brazil within 12 days, and South Korea within 5 days .

 

The performance of the Preferred Warehouse during this year's Double 11 was explosive: it took only 6 minutes to exceed the number of orders in one hour last year, and only 47 minutes to exceed the number of orders during last year's Double 11. Among them, the North China Preferred Warehouse, which was just established in Weihai, Shandong in August this year and has been in operation for only more than three months , was proven to be efficient on Double 11 , with more than 10,000 orders in 15 minutes after opening.

In addition, on the eve of Double 11 this year , AliExpress strengthened the layout of overseas warehouses in the European market, adding warehouse locations in Germany, France, Italy and other countries to ensure that local deliveries in Spain and France can be completed within three days, and local deliveries in other parts of Europe can be completed within seven days.

 

AliExpress has also teamed up with Cainiao Global Parcel Network to officially launch seven distribution centers located in Liege, Belgium, Madrid, Spain, Paris, France, Bremen, Germany, Rome, Italy, Budapest, Hungary, and Moscow, Russia. The peak sorting capacity of the four distribution centers in Spain, France, Germany and Italy is about 500,000 parcels per day .

According to AliExpress data, within three hours of the Double 11 sales , 37 new brands had achieved a breakthrough from 0 to 1 on AliExpress . As of 9 am on November 12 , 17 hours after the sales started , 26 brands had achieved sales of over one million US dollars.
