Amazon Canada's warehouse capacity has been relaxed, but some sellers' shipments are still being canceled

Uncertain storage capacity has always been a headache for sellers. Some sellers cannot increase storage capacity and cannot ship goods; while some sellers are just the opposite, their storage capacity has increased significantly and they cannot replenish goods in time. Recently, Amazon released a new announcement, which is good news for sellers on the Canadian site.

Amazon said that in order to help sellers who have difficulties with replenishment and storage limits , the site has improved some content, including replenishment limits and storage time, etc. According to the announcement, the site has now increased the replenishment limit from 20 pieces per batch to 100 pieces per batch , and the replenishment limit for ASINs created in the past nine months is a maximum of 200 pieces per shipment .

In terms of storage time, the average storage time of sellers in the operation center has been reduced from two months to three months . However, some foreign sellers said that although it was good news, their goods were cancelled.

The seller said that each ASIN in its shipment did not exceed 100 units (four ASINs, a total of 312 units), but the goods were canceled. The seller said that he had not encountered such problems in other markets. In this regard, the feedback given by Amazon Seller Support was that the shipment was canceled because the quantity was higher than the inventory plan and larger than the recommended shipment size in the replenishment inventory page, but the seller was not informed of the overall limit reached, only the recommended shipping size was mentioned.

Some sellers said that the recommended content on the ASIN page changes every day, and the sellers themselves may not notice it.

After many attempts and communications, the seller finally found a solution. He uploaded the file containing the bag size, delivery time, minimum order size and replenishment frequency to the custom SKU setting option on the replenishment inventory page , and the recommended order quantity on the page became more reasonable than before. The seller said that he hoped that the goods would not be cancelled again.

Domestically, some sellers have reported that storage capacity has generally increased recently. Putting aside issues of transportation and cost, this can be considered good news.

It is understood that Amazon Canada has currently added two new fulfillment centers, increasing storage space by more than 4 million cubic feet . In addition, two more fulfillment centers are expected to open in November, adding another 5 million cubic feet of storage space to ensure smooth circulation of goods during the peak season.
