Today, I saw a post from an Amazon US seller forum where a seller asked about the logistics time of SFP (Seller Fulfilled Prime). The general meaning is that the SFP delivery method provides buyers with next-day and two-day delivery logistics services, but when the seller searched for his products on Amazon, he found that the logistics date was 4 days.
Strangely, after the customer placed the order, the delivery date shown on Amazon backend was different from the delivery date seen on the front end. The seller was very confused about this and posted a question on the forum. Seller A: I don’t know that Amazon has done this before with SFP and FBM. They show buyers a controllable delivery date, but they show sellers the actual date.
Seller A: This problem has been occurring on and off since the pandemic. I expect UPS and FedEx to restrict shipments to their major customers again, as they are already starting to increase holiday delivery fees.
The seller who posted this message replied: Why doesn’t Amazon directly show buyers the same real date as the seller’s backend? If buyers still see the same slow delivery time, what’s the point of sellers participating in SFP?
Seller B: I have to answer this question. I no longer use SFP because this shipping method has hindered my sales. Maybe Amazon doesn’t know how long it will take for the carrier to deliver the seller’s products to the buyer.
Another seller, C, said: I searched for the products you sell on Amazon, but did not see any exclusive logistics services for Prime. All the displayed results were standard logistics. Maybe in some states, this product does not support Prime logistics.
The sellers have their own opinions on the problem encountered by the poster, but we have no way of knowing the real reason why Amazon displays it this way. Nevertheless, according to the editor, Amazon SFP shipping is indeed something that many sellers can consider.
In today's society, people want to get the goods they buy online as soon as possible, and the importance of logistics time is self-evident. Amazon's SFP delivery method allows eligible sellers to achieve the same logistics time as Amazon Prime by self-delivery, which is quite competitive in the e-commerce market. logistics Amazon Platform |
