SF Express will increase the proportion of international air cargo, adding new support to sellers' shipping channels

SF Express will increase the proportion of international air cargo, adding new support to sellers' shipping channels

According to the Securities Times, SF Holding recently stated at a performance briefing that the proportion of air transportation will increase in the future , because it needs to be delivered directly to consumers, which requires higher timeliness. It is understood that SF's international routes have increased to 22 this year, and it has recently cooperated with large merchants. The first route is now to the United States, and routes to Europe and other parts of the world will be opened in the future.

In recent years, with the development of cross-border e-commerce B2C model, air cargo has occupied an important position in import and export trade due to its high efficiency .

Data from the International Air Logistics Association showed that in May this year , global air cargo demand reached its highest point since the 1990s. Willie Walsh, President of IATA , said that as the global economy continues to recover from the epidemic crisis, the air cargo business is booming and has become the lifeline of revenue for many airlines.

At present, it has become the norm for domestic and foreign airlines to convert passenger flights to cargo flights. The cross-border cargo routes of many domestic airlines are also very popular .

Taking Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport as an example, in addition to adding eight international all-cargo routes to Clark, Kuala Lumpur, Los Angeles, Singapore and other destinations last year , and increasing the frequency of all-cargo flights to Liege, Moscow and other places, Xiaoshan Airport has added two international all-cargo routes to Seoul and Osaka this year, as well as six international passenger-to-cargo routes to London, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Sydney, Hahn, Milan and other places. The number of international and regional scheduled cargo routes has increased to 23, reaching four continents around the world.

However, industry insiders said : " At present, China's air cargo is still mainly transported in the belly of passenger planes, which is greatly limited in terms of carrying capacity and timeliness . China's air cargo still has a big shortcoming, and it needs more cargo airlines and more cargo planes. "

However, there is also good news for air cargo development. In the first half of this year, the registration growth rate of air cargo-related enterprises in China has been rising steadily. Following the above-mentioned SF Airlines and YTO Airlines, JD.com has also joined the group .

It is not difficult to imagine that with the development of air cargo in my country, sellers will have more and better choices in air cargo in the future.
