Shopee, Southeast Asia’s leading e-commerce platform, has launched its second ASEAN Online Sale Day (AOSD) in partnership with the Ministry of Trade and Industry (DTI) . From August 8 to 10 , consumers can enjoy discounts of up to 75% when purchasing specialty products from ASEAN countries including the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, Laos and Indonesia .
ASEAN Online Sales Day is an annual event that aims to promote cross-border e-commerce in the region, support small and medium-sized enterprises in ASEAN countries , and strengthen partnerships between stakeholders and businesses. Official stores of leading brands in ASEAN countries, including Krizia Ladies Wear , Go Lokal , Mondial88 Trading Corporation, IRVINS Salted Egg, Chocovron, BLK Cosmetics, Happy Skin, Jersey Milk and the Globe , will participate in the event .

Bonoan, Director General of the Domestic Trade Development Agency of the Ministry of Trade and Industry of ASEAN , said: "DTI looks forward to working with Shopee again for ASEAN online sales, and we appreciate their strong support to ASEAN countries in promoting cross-border trade . It is estimated that about 2.14 billion people will buy goods and services online this year .
