Camera sales boom in spring as lockdown eases

The epidemic has made working from home a new trend. With the increase in online activities and the development of the new media era, camera products have entered a period of booming sales.

Video cameras are popular among American consumers

Survey data shows that sales of camcorders and mirrorless cameras in the United States increased by 24% and 18% respectively from January to February 2021. This also fully demonstrates that after the epidemic is over, Americans are eager to travel after the lockdown.

Dollar sales of mirrorless cameras grew 46% in the first two months of 2021 as a variety of well-equipped cameras increased their appeal to buyers, with increased demand driving up average selling prices for cameras.

Quarterly sales hit record highs, these novels are the best-selling in the United States

Recently, an organization conducted a survey on American novels and found that sales in the United States reached 39 million copies from January to March 2021 alone , an increase of 35% compared with the same period in 2020. At the same time, the way Americans buy books has also changed due to the epidemic, from offline to online.

Among them, comics, women's novels and romance novels have the best sales. Survey data shows that in the first quarter of 2021 alone , the sales of comic books in the United States have increased by 3.6 million sets year-on-year.

The most popular ones are the new work "Chainsaw Man" by Japanese writer Viz Media, the new work "The Four Winds" by Kristen Hannah, and "Firefly Lane" by Hannah. In addition, the trend of bringing goods has also emerged on social media. The book name tag BookTok on TikTok has also driven the growth of book sales.

In fact, online sales have become a trend, not only in the United States, but also in Mexico. According to survey data, in 2020, Mexico's e -commerce transaction volume reached 316 billion pesos, an increase of 81% year-on-year. Currently, Mexico's e-commerce sales account for 10% to 20% of the country's total retail sales.

In the Mexican e-commerce market, the categories most searched by consumers include household goods, gardening products, electronic technology and clothing products, which is enough to show the current consumption status of the Mexican market . Sellers who are interested in this market can focus on several major categories.
