Dutch B2B platform Orderchamp raises €16.5 million to further expand into Europe

Foreign media reported that Dutch B2B e-commerce platform Orderchamp has currently raised 16.5 million euros for further expansion in Europe.

The Series A round for Orderchamp was led by venture capital firm Prime Ventures, with participation from existing investor henQ and several angel investors.

Orderchamp was founded in the Netherlands in September 2019 and is currently active in the Benelux , Germany and France. In a few months, the company will open a physical office in Germany, but with the growth of capital, it will soon develop further in the European market and enhance its position in the international market.

" Much of the investment from this financing will be used to increase our international presence, improve the digital purchasing experience, and further develop our powerful technology, including machine learning and integration with e-commerce software ," said co-founder and CEO Joost Brugmans.

Orderchamp is rapidly developing its e-commerce platform and expanding the number of brands on the platform. Joost Brugmans said: " Every day, we want to add dozens of brands. "

“Our retailers visit our platform several times a week to source unique products for their stores or online. That’s why we seek to add dozens of new brands every day, not every week, that retailers can quickly and easily buy.

Based on previous sales data from tens of thousands of retailers , Orderchamp can better predict whether a product will sell in that specific store. This way, stores can continue to stand out from the crowd and strengthen local retail.

Brugmans believes Prime Ventures is the perfect choice. “Through their previous investments, they are experts in online marketplaces , e-commerce and fintech. It is this combination that makes us believe we can work together to become a global leader in our category.

Thijs Emondts of Prime Ventures believes that traditional wholesale is very fragmented and not very innovative. “Through its technology, such as data-driven recommendations, unique assortment and smart go-to-market strategies, Orderchamp provides retailers and brands with a unique customer experience.
