This baby folding seat is urgently recalled

Recently, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Association issued a notice announcing the recall of a popular baby bathroom folding seat sold on Amazon .

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Association said that because the product does not meet the stability requirements of the federal standard for infant bath seats, the seat may tip over during use, posing a safety hazard to the baby.

It is understood that about 5,000 of the recalled products were sold on Amazon , with a price of about US$40.

Made from plastic, this foldable baby bath seat comes in a variety of colors including green , grey and blue, and each seat has four white suction cups on the bottom.

The model number can be found on a sticker on the back of the bath seat , which also states the following: WARNING: Never leave children unattended.

So far, no accidents or casualties have been reported. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission emphasizes that customers should immediately stop using the recalled seats.

Many foreign media outlets have emphasized in their reports that, according to the recall alert, these products are made in China . Now "Made in China" has attracted attention again...

The global baby products market is huge

Chinese people have always been proud of the high quality and low price of Chinese products, but in recent times, Chinese products have frequently failed and have been questioned due to quality issues.

From chimpanzee dolls and unicorn children's necklaces to today's folding seats, they have been recalled either due to racial discrimination or quality issues. It is worth noting that these cases all involve baby or children's products, which also shows the popularity of such products from the side.

According to a report released by Grand View Research, Inc., the global baby products market is expected to reach US$16.78 billion by 2025.

The market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 5.5% during the forecast period . The growing population in emerging economies of Asia Pacific, including India and China, is likely to boost the demand for baby products.

Rising spending power in developed economies of North America and Europe will also boost the industry growth in the coming years.

This also means that the baby products market still has great potential for development, and many sellers will choose to enter this market.

However, sellers should also be aware that although baby and children's products sell well, they also have great potential risks. Sellers should pay attention to avoiding risks when selecting products, after all, every recall and infringement case is a warning.
