Newegg continues to expand its online business by adding new logistics facilities

Recently, North American electronics retailer Newegg said it opened a new office in Eastvale, California to expand its business in Los Angeles.

Newegg's vice president said that hundreds of independent e-commerce companies rely on Newegg to provide a wide range of 3PL ( third-party logistics ) services . In order to be able to effectively serve existing 3PL customers , Newegg has added warehousing and distribution facilities in the Los Angeles area , which now cover an area of ​​more than 250,000 square feet .

It is reported that Newegg's new Eastvale facility is built to handle large amounts of e-commerce business. The building has 36 docks , 46 trailer stalls , two-level doors and a 36-foot clearance height, which can quickly pick, pack and ship outbound orders and ensure efficient entry, exit and storage of goods.

Currently, the region handles 5,000-10,000 orders per day , and it is worth noting that the region can triple its throughput during seasonal surges in parcels.

The new 3PL facility has immediate access to I-10, I-15 and CA-60 freeways, ensuring that orders are packed and dispatched quickly to meet on-time delivery. In addition, the new facility has brought more than 50 new jobs to the Eastvale area.
