About Beru Yandex and Sberbank have been testing Beru since June 2018, and the platform has completed more than 180,000 orders so far. In October 2018, Beru was officially launched in the Russian market, with more than 1,000 retailers on the platform and more than 600 shopping categories for consumers, ranging from home appliances to cosmetics.
Russian e-commerce market Morgan Stanley estimates that Russia's e-commerce market was worth $19 billion in 2018, and the investments starting next year will help the country's market rise to $52 billion by 2023.
