Aktia is a mobile wallet. It allows customers to make payments both online and offline. Once the app is downloaded to their smartphone, customers can register using a Finnish online banking code and fund their account from their bank account or payment card. Customers use the app by providing their fingerprint or a PIN of their choice. Some transactions require strong customer authentication, i.e. via an online banking code. Customers do not need to have an Aktia account to use the Aktia wallet.
