A number of factory merchants have achieved significant growth in orders by signing up for the "Super Explosion Day".
Mr. Jin, a merchant on AliExpress, has a factory located in the famous Huaqiangbei area of Shenzhen. The production workshop was busy in July, with workers deftly assembling and debugging the machines at hand. The factory produces a small handheld game console that is just the right size to fit in your pocket and can be used to play thousands of games. It was a hot item on AliExpress this summer.
Mr. Jin is also a game enthusiast. In the past, he has been running this business he loves by supplying goods. In April 2024, due to changes in the business environment, the team discussed and decided to focus on cross-border B2C business. When the factory was transforming, it chose the AliExpress platform as its first choice.
The team made the right choice. In June this year alone, the factory sold more than 10,000 handheld game consoles, with sales exceeding 1 million. The growth was mainly due to the "Super Explosion Day". Mr. Jin recalled the scene of the explosion of orders after participating in the event for the first time: Facing the printers that kept issuing orders, the team was even a little bit unbelievable. Fortunately, the factory had sufficient production capacity and worked overtime to take up this batch of orders.
The factory where Ms. Deng works also completed the transformation from supply to retail through AliExpress. Recently, the factory’s main product is a Bluetooth headset, which has sold more than 40,000 sets through the “Super Explosion Day”.
Ms. Deng said: "In the past, it was not easy for factories to seize the business opportunities during the summer vacation every year. We were always unsure about the stocking quantity. After participating in the 'Super Outbreak Day' for the first time, we found that the estimated sales volume given by the backstage was surprisingly accurate, which gave us a great reference for factory production. Now we must report on the 'Super Outbreak Day' every time. Once a product wins the bid, the sales volume can be seen, which feels like taking a reassurance pill."

Currently, AliExpress's 2024 key project "Super Explosion Day" is open to all managed sellers. According to data, once a product wins the bid, its exposure can increase by 6 times compared to normal.
