Adobe Analytics reports that about 51.8% of online sales this year came from mobile shoppers, up from 49.9% last year and 46% the year before.

 

On Thanksgiving Day alone, 59% of online spending came from mobile devices, a record high and exceeding last year's 55%.

 

Data shows that shoppers are becoming more comfortable purchasing via mobile, and as this trend grows , brands are adapting by optimizing their websites for mobile devices.

 

Additionally, these brands are looking for new ways to market to customers on their mobile phones, with brands like Forever 21 focusing their Cyber ​​Week strategy on SMS marketing to ensure personalized recommendations .

 

It is understood that more than 80 % of the sales of DTC health brand ApothéKary come from mobile devices, up from 74% last year. Earlier this year, ApothéKary underwent a brand rebranding, including the launch of a mobile-friendly website.

 

The company has also increased its budget for influencer marketing and affiliates this year, and diversified its advertising spending to reach more online customers.

 

Spending on mobile devices has reached $409 billion so far this year, up from $362 billion last year and $317 billion in 2021, according to Adobe.
