According to foreign media reports, Amazon, Walmart and Target are the e-commerce leaders during Black Friday, Cyber ​​Monday and even Christmas. These giants have changed the way consumers shop at the end of the year.

 

According to data provided by Insider Intelligence and eMarketer Forecast , among the six major e-commerce retailers, Amazon was the undisputed biggest winner of this promotion with a sales of $106.18 billion, followed by Walmart, but its sales were only $20.37 billion, equivalent to 19% of Amazon's sales.

Apple ranked third with sales of $13.95 billion , followed by Target with sales of $7.48 billion. eBay and Best Buy ranked fourth and fifth with sales of $ 7.36 billion and $6.29 billion , respectively .

 

In addition, according to Similarweb's analysis of more than 700 e-commerce websites in the United States, Amazon's website traffic also took the lead, with its website traffic increasing by 2% year-on-year to more than 100 million. Walmart ranked second with more than 25 million visits, but its traffic fell by 10% year-on-year.

 

On Thanksgiving, Amazon's traffic increased by 6% month-on-month, while Black Friday traffic increased by 3%. On Thanksgiving, the platform's traffic peaked around 10 p.m., while on Black Friday, the peak was around 3 p.m.

 

In addition, according to research by independent analysis agency Profitero, during this year's holiday season, Amazon had the lowest online prices compared to other major U.S. retailers, with prices in 15 categories 16% lower on average than other platforms.
