Amazon operations was transferred to Temu, packed goods for 3 hours a day and chose to resign

For many people working on Amazon operations, having a stable supply of old products to guarantee sales and a steady increase in salary levels may be the life in the workplace that many people dream of.

However, real life is often more cruel than ideal. In the real workplace, operations not only have to frequently launch new products, but even job positions may change.

Recently, an Amazon operations officer reported that because the company had been losing money this year, her boss transferred her from Amazon operations to Temu. Her daily workload instantly doubled, but her salary remained unchanged.

According to this operator, when he first joined the company, he was working on Amazon Premium Store. For a new account, he basically started from scratch. He had to select products and edit photos by himself, and he promoted the advertisements together with his boss.

The base salary is 6,000 yuan, and the commission is almost negligible. However, since this job is relatively leisurely and also includes accommodation, I think I can do it for a while and gain some experience.

However, the company has been losing money since the beginning of this year, and the boss would find faults in the group and suppress the operation at any time. Later, the boss's wife came into contact with Temu and thought it was promising, so she decided to do a big job and arranged for this operator to take over Temu.

Because the platform does not require operation, the operator's main job becomes packing products. Because there are a lot of goods to be shipped, it basically takes at least three hours a day. I feel dizzy just packing goods all day.

Although he took over Temu, he still had to work on the Amazon store. As a result, the operator's workload doubled, but his salary remained the same.

In the end, the reason she decided to resign was because her boss once felt that there was a problem with the products she selected, and then began to PUA her, saying that she was incompetent and that she was not able to achieve results even though she was paid.

Under tremendous pressure, the operator finally chose to resign. But recently she regretted it a little because she found that it is really difficult to find a job in Amazon operations now.

After investigation, it was found that it is not uncommon for Amazon operators to have multiple duties. Many operators reported that they needed to balance Temu's work, and many people said that it was the sudden increase in workload that ultimately led them to resign.

In the current sluggish environment, each individual will be affected to varying degrees. In this situation, more factors need to be considered when making career planning decisions.
