The foreigners are silent. Are the brand names of domestic Amazon sellers all garbled?

The foreigners are silent. Are the brand names of domestic Amazon sellers all garbled?

This year, Amazon's PD promotion once again made history. A total of 375 million items were sold in two days, and consumers spent a total of 12.7 billion US dollars.

However, among the dazzling array of discount tags, some curious foreign consumers are paying attention to something that is usually overlooked by most people.

On Amazon, in addition to brands like Nike, Apple, Asus and Amazon's own brands, there are also many third-party sellers, including of course many domestic sellers.

Some sharp-eyed netizens have discovered that the brand names of these third-party sellers look very strange, and there are many completely meaningless brand names such as NVEESHOX, Fosman, or QINLIANF.

Many of them have even accumulated a large number of reviews, and some products have even been listed on the top of the best-selling list of their categories. This sense of contrast made the foreigner fall into deep thought, how could such a casual brand name be so successful.

Seeing this, some foreigners will speculate whether the seller made a typo or even suspect that there is something wrong with the browser. However, the actual situation is that these brands are indeed called these names, not typos.

Of course, these brands are legitimate businesses, not online scams. In most cases, consumers can receive products quickly after placing orders from these brands.

Previously, a New York Times reporter reported his experience of buying gloves from a brand called "FRETREE" on Amazon. At first, he was worried about whether there would be any problems, but the result was surprisingly smooth. Not only did he receive the package quickly, but the product quality was also impeccable.

But why are there so many strange brand names? Foreigners speculate that most of these brands may be sold by Chinese sellers.

Foreign media previously reported that due to the fierce competition in the Chinese market, many sellers have turned their attention to Amazon. However, if they want to develop long-term on Amazon, they naturally have to register their own brand. Therefore, in order to avoid having the same name as other brands, many sellers simply type a string of random codes, which is both convenient and hassle-free.

Judging from the current situation, foreigners do not seem to care much about whether a brand name is formal or not. They should only care about product prices and delivery time.

However, for sellers, although a string of garbled characters may make it easier to pass brand registration certification, a catchy brand name may help sellers go more smoothly on the road to branding in the future.
