Recently, according to a report by foreign research agency Gaceta, with the growth of e-commerce in Latin America, its scale has reached 200 million US dollars, making it the fastest growing online market.
According to the report, research shows that about 15 million people in Chile shopped online during the epidemic , of which more than 60% of the purchases were related to AliExpress, and the consumption potential is huge.
Data shows that AliExpress's sales in Chile have increased by more than 120%, mainly electronic products. It is reported that advertising paid for social networks and market expansion have greatly helped the growth of this market.
Currently, AliExpress is still expanding its business, and the Latin American market is one of its important markets. It is reported that most of AliExpress's revenue currently comes from its domestic business, but it cannot be denied that most of its growth in Latin America, especially Chile, has continuously improved the company's brand awareness.
The report also stated that AliExpress's global business volume continues to increase , so it has begun to expand its business in Latin America. During the epidemic, the company signed an agreement to send goods to Latin American countries faster, which will help AliExpress better serve the market.
It is understood that Atlas Air will operate three charter flights per week between China, Brazil and Chile. The purpose is to achieve the goal of shortening delivery time from one week to an average of three days. This progress reflects the service standard of AliExpress to achieve global delivery time in less than 72 hours.
In addition, the move is also in response to the sudden increase in parcels from AliExpress to South America. According to reports, in the third quarter, a total of 8 million parcels were delivered to the region, double the number delivered in the second quarter of 2021.
Among the e-commerce consumers surveyed in Chile, only about 53% chose AliExpress as their most trusted international e-commerce brand. Chile AliExpress Double |
