Target launches Latino Heritage Month collection

To celebrate the upcoming Latino Heritage Month, Target announced that it will launch a Latino Heritage Month collection. The campaign will work with local creators and entrepreneurs to bring the first Latino Heritage Month collection to local residents. It includes more than 80 products for the whole family, including accessories, books, stationery, movies, music, games and more.


  Target said that during the event, the company will highlight outstanding Latino creators and business stories. This is also the first time Target has launched different categories of products during Latino Heritage Month. The new products will be sold through both online and offline channels, and more products will be launched this month.

 

Target said it will work with Latino designers, businesses and team members, and all items in the product assortment are specially selected or designed to pay tribute to the history and diversity of Latino culture . The design concept highlights the rights of Latino women and the importance of family , as well as support for economic inclusion and entrepreneurship .

 

Consumers can shop a curated collection of Latino-owned brands during Latino Heritage Month, including new brands such as Siete Foods, Rizos Curls, Pacinos, Cocina54 and Millennial Lotería, as well as several exclusive products including curated apparel from Latino artists Alex Izaguirre and Reina Castellanos of Mamút Creative.

 

Regarding this Heritage Month event , Alex Izaguirre said that it is very important for a large retailer to recognize Latinos and provide a platform for Latino traditions, culture, artists, creators and entrepreneurs, and she is very happy to be able to participate.

 

According to Target's official news, Target has been committed to promoting Latino team members, empowering Latino-owned businesses and supporting Latino organizations, investing more than $1.1 billion in the past five years, including Latino-owned suppliers, media companies, strategic partners, philanthropy and community organizations such as the Hispanic Scholarship Fund and UnidosUS. It is reported that this year Target will also sponsor the 34th Hispanic Heritage Foundation's Hispanic Heritage Award for the eighth consecutive year.
