On the afternoon of July 23, 2021 , the "Facebook Official Private Salon·Xiamen Station" event held by Ennet in Xiamen was a complete success. The event was very lively and the sellers present gained a lot!

 

In this event, Jerry Zhang, Business Director of E-commerce Industry of Facebook Greater China, Wu Jiayang, CEO of Chuanliu, Tony, gold medal lecturer of FunPinPin Academy, and Zhang Yiwang, CEO of Fujian Hangteng Data Culture Communication Co., Ltd., gave keynote speeches.

Through keynote speeches, roundtable meetings, free questions and other sessions, the guest speakers discussed with the cross-border e-commerce sellers present and answered their questions.

 

In the keynote speech, Jerry Zhang, Business Director of Facebook Greater China's e-commerce industry, explained how to drive demand and enable discovery commerce . Jerry Zhang introduced Facebook's advantages and services, demonstrated Facebook stores , etc., and let sellers understand how to use Facebook to help sellers open up the market from the perspective of stores, messages and business advertisements.

 

Tony, the gold medal lecturer of FunPinPin Academy, shared practical tips on independent website marketing and promotion , and explained in detail to sellers the popular methods and techniques of independent website Facebook marketing.

 

Mr. Zhang Yiwang shared his expertise in traffic gameplay and gave a keynote speech on the topic of " TikTok short video natural flow monetization - taking Yiwu small commodities as an example ".

 

Mr. Wu Jiayang, CEO of Chuanliu, shared his views on the topic of "How to use Facebook messaer and lead ads to capture small Bs and complete a 5 million US dollar order", combining it with the recent development of the cross-border industry.

Recently, the cross-border circle has been in turmoil. What opportunities and challenges will sellers face amid the Amazon turmoil?

 

Mr. Zhang Mengjie, a big seller on Amazon, said that due to the entry of a large number of sellers and the continuous blocking of accounts after April , statistics show that the proportion of brands blocked on Amazon this year is about 7%, and the proportion of blocked accounts of medium and large sellers is nearly 50%.

 

It is not difficult to see from the data that Amazon’s banning measures this year are very strong, but there are still great opportunities in the future, because Amazon itself is a product-focused platform . Next, sellers who focus on developing products and operating in compliance will have more and more opportunities.

 

In this regard, Chuanliu CEO Wu Jiayang added that for sellers, if they work hard on products and operate in compliance, there will definitely be opportunities. On the one hand, they can make money through Amazon, and on the other hand, they can use the money earned from Amazon to open up their own path, which is more important.

 

In addition, the guests on site analyzed and answered questions about new ways to play with independent sites , how to price the same product on independent sites and Amazon , and product selection for independent sites in the second half of the year . The sellers benefited greatly from this.

Seller: Regarding the price of the independent site, if the price on Amazon is $100, what is a suitable price on the independent site?

 

Mr. Wu Jiayang pointed out that it is recommended to increase the price by 15%-30%. If the product is worth 700-800 USD, buyers don’t really care about the price of the product. They pay more attention to the pictures and details of the product . Therefore, even if the price increases by more than ten USD, it will not have much impact.

 

Other sellers asked questions about the conversion rate of TikTok short videos , things that novice sellers should pay attention to, etc. , and the atmosphere on the scene was very heated.


At this point, the "Facebook Official Private Salon·Xiamen Station" event ended successfully. According to the questionnaire survey, 80% of the sellers who participated in the event said they were very satisfied, 20% said they were relatively satisfied, and the satisfaction rate reached 100% . At the same time, many sellers said they would definitely participate in similar events next time.
