Good news! Amazon US sellers can proactively contact buyers who leave negative reviews

Amazon US has added a new feature called “Contact buyers who gave negative reviews”.

 

The Prime Day that excited countless sellers has just passed. The most intuitive feeling is that some are happy and some are sad. After all, some people have thousands of orders a day, while others receive zero orders. The scene was truly spectacular!

 

The recent small cards and manipulated reviews may have made Amazon think deeply , or maybe the brother-in-law wanted to give sellers a wave of benefits before reaching the moon . Just today, Amazon US added a new feature, which brought exciting good news to the Amazon seller circle that has been sluggish for many days.

 

After brand registration, sellers can proactively contact buyers who leave negative reviews.

 

In other words, if a listing has a negative review, the seller can contact the buyer and communicate with the buyer directly. After understanding the reason for the negative review, the seller can give a reasonable explanation in the hope that the buyer will modify or delete his or her negative review, thereby improving his or her listing.

 

In Amazon's seller backend, after entering the "Contact Buyer" button, the seller has two options: full refund or exchange; contact the buyer who left a bad review and clarify all product issues to him based on the content of his review.

 

This is undoubtedly great news for sellers, as it can help them modify or delete some misunderstandings or inappropriate negative reviews. However, sellers should also note that this rule only applies to sellers on Amazon US, brand registered sellers, sellers with four stars or above, and sellers participating in Vine.

 

As a daily task for sellers, the problem of negative reviews has always existed and needs to be solved urgently. After all, the impact of a negative review on a seller’s listing is likely to be devastating. Some sellers even said that because of a negative review, their five-star listing was directly reduced to two stars.

 

According to past practice and the recent frequent blocking of accounts due to big sales, sellers can only communicate with buyers based on facts to modify negative reviews, and avoid small actions such as monetary bribery, so as not to lose the big for the small. After all, the benefits given by my brother-in-law should be cherished!
