Lin Wenkui, General Manager of Sales for eBay Greater China, said: "In the past year, we, Shanghai and sellers across the country have experienced explosive growth in cross-border e-commerce. We have seen a large number of excellent traditional companies in Shanghai join the cross-border e-commerce track, and we feel that the cross-border e-commerce ecosystem with Shanghai characteristics is becoming more and more enthusiastic. As a platform, we are particularly optimistic about the continued development of Shanghai companies in the cross-border e-commerce track in the future. eBay will also continue to help more traditional manufacturing and foreign trade companies in Shanghai accelerate transformation and upgrading through cross-border e-commerce channels. "

Shenzhen and Fujian are traditional cross-border e-commerce export industrial belts in China, with a number of experienced cross-border e-commerce companies. At the summit, eBay invited representatives of outstanding cross-border e-commerce companies in the south to share their successful cross-border export experience with Shanghai companies. Dadi Chunhua is a professional seller of auto parts from Xiamen ,   The company achieved sales of one million US dollars in the first year after entering eBay . The global epidemic has made logistics particularly critical. We have chosen to deploy overseas warehouses to ensure logistics timeliness and enhance consumers' shopping experience. Brand overseas expansion is a trend. In the future, we are also considering building our own factories to achieve true ' production and sales integration ' and let more Europeans and Americans know about 'Chinese brands'."

Lin Wenkui said: "Today's cross-border e-commerce has moved from being channel-oriented to being product-oriented. Companies that deeply cultivate vertical supply chains will definitely become winners at this stage. In the post-epidemic era, cross-border e-commerce has become a new outlet. More traditional manufacturing and foreign trade companies are accelerating their transformation and upgrading; more domestic e-commerce companies are beginning to vigorously expand their second track; more outstanding brand companies are embracing the trend of cross-border e-commerce and realizing brand expansion overseas. We encourage companies to position and focus on their core competitiveness and continuously improve their self-awareness. The eBay team will definitely go all out to work with everyone to achieve a win-win situation! "

Founded in 1992, Shanghai Rongheng International Trade Co., Ltd. of Orient International Group has more than 20 years of experience in the field of underwear manufacturing. It has successively built factories in Shanghai, Bangladesh, and Jining, Shandong, and established a stable supply chain. "Rongheng International" officially entered eBay in 2021 through the "Outbound Excellent Products" project , and chose eBay as the first platform for exploring cross-border e-commerce channels. Han Qian, general manager of "Rongheng" , said: " We realize that traditional trade forms and relatively single markets have restricted the development of the company's business. In particular, the outbreak of the epidemic has made us more aware of the importance of exploring cross-border e-commerce models. We have customized three products for overseas markets, a total of 10 sets of upper and lower matching, targeting the Black Friday, Christmas and New Year sales seasons, and the sales plan for Valentine's Day in 2022 is also being planned. We chose eBay as the first platform for going overseas, and we firmly believe that Rongheng can go overseas smoothly and win the battle in the face of overseas C-end consumers! "
