Saks Off 5th in the US strengthens digital development with launch of shopping app

Recently, Saks Off 5th, an American luxury department store chain, officially launched a shopping application with Follow Analytics, taking another step towards digital development.

 

Online sales account for more than 30%

 

Saks Off 5th is a luxury department store in the United States with stores in the United States and Canada, mainly selling clothing, shoes, home furnishings, jewelry and cosmetics. Data shows that before the COVID-19 pandemic, its digital sales accounted for 30% of its total sales , reaching US$1 billion. In 2020, this proportion has far exceeded 30%.

 

Even as its offline stores have suffered, Saks Off 5th’s digital sales have grown every month. Three-quarters of visitors to saksoff5th.com come from mobile devices, and data collected from Saks Off 5th’s “customer advisory panel” shows that 30% to 40% are already using competitors’ apps to shop.

 

The app is now live and available online at the Apple Store. In addition, the app also has some friendly and intuitive features, such as creating wish lists, intuitive navigation, scanning product tickets, and other personalized features. Saks Off 5th said that the app is currently being tested and hopes to get customer ratings to make continuous improvements and give customers a better experience.

 

Saks Off 5th offers 30% to 70% off

 

In fact, due to the epidemic, many old department stores in the United States have closed most of their offline stores and are undergoing online transformation. However, from the final result, the results of their transformation are not as good as Saks Off 5th, and their online product categories are relatively small.

 

Although Saks Off 5th has a large number of products , it produces very few of them, and most of them are purchased on the market. On the newly launched Saks Off 5th app , it also offers a 30-70% discount on the manufacturer's suggested retail price to attract consumers' attention.
