The logistics system will be upgraded! Korean e-commerce Naver is in full swing

It is reported that Naver will launch regular subscription products, free delivery of daily necessities, fresh food and next-day delivery services this year.

 

Shinsegae , E -Mart and CJ Logistics plan to consolidate their full range of e-commerce systems from daily necessities, Dongdaemun clothing to luxury brands by upgrading their logistics systems.

 

Naver CEO said: " During the pandemic crisis, Naver has supported small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in the online market and achieved meaningful growth in the e-commerce field. Based on its strong user and seller foundation , Naver is developing into Korea's leading e-commerce company. "

 

At the same time, he explained that the basic concept of Naver's e-commerce and smart store platform is to pursue the "diversity" of products while ensuring the "purchasing experience" of users and the "sales activities" of operators .

 

He added that Naver 's competitiveness lies not only in price but also in making a wide variety of sellers and products accessible to Naver's largest user base in Korea.

 

The CEO said, "Naver, as a leader in the e-commerce market that has grown together with users, sellers, and partners, achieved a transaction volume of 28 trillion won last year, consolidating its position as the number one e-commerce company in Korea. We will continue to improve our corporate competitiveness in order to continue to develop our business. "

 

Naver plans to release regular subscription products such as Coupang to support various purchasing methods, expand categories such as rentals , luxury goods and daily necessities, and develop real-time commerce.

 

It is understood that Naver will continue to expand globally after adding its partner ecosystem . It is worth noting that they are discussing preferential policies such as accrued fees and free shipping .

 

President Han said, "As of the end of last year, the total number of Plus member subscribers exceeded 2.5 million, and it is expected to reach 6 million cumulatively by the end of this year ."

 

Naver said it is reviewing plans such as introducing same-day and next-day delivery of Shinsegae and E-Mart products, using memberships to offer free delivery benefits and delivering fresh food to smart stores.

 

It is also considering collaborating with CJ Logistics to establish various logistics services including daily necessities , fresh food , Dongdaemun fashion , home appliances , luxury goods and overseas logistics.

 

"Naver will continue to support small and medium-sized enterprises , and its basic philosophy of bringing the greatest convenience to users will remain unchanged, " the CEO said .
